1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the GreenFocus app ("app", "service"). By creating an account or using the app, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What GreenFocus is

GreenFocus is a productivity and digital wellbeing app that helps you focus by blocking distracting apps during focus sessions, and provides screen-time stats, goals, a digital detox plan and an AI assistant ("Zen").

3. Eligibility

The app is intended for people 18 years of age or older. By using GreenFocus you confirm that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.

4. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information at sign-up and keep it up to date.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Subscriptions, free trials and payments

• GreenFocus offers free features and a paid Premium subscription.
• Subscriptions are processed and billed by Google Play, according to your Google account terms. We do not process payments directly.
• Free trial: when offered, billing only begins at the end of the trial period, unless you cancel beforehand.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (weekly or monthly) at the current price, until you cancel.
• Cancellation: you may cancel anytime in Google Play → Subscriptions. Premium access continues until the end of the period already paid.
• Refunds: follow Google Play's policy.
• Prices may vary by country and may change; price changes are communicated per Google Play rules.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app for illegal or unauthorized purposes;
• attempt to bypass, decompile, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app;
• access the service through unauthorized automated means;
• resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the app without authorization.

7. Intellectual property

GreenFocus, its brand, logo, design and content are protected by intellectual property rights and belong to GreenFocus or its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app under these Terms.

8. Third-party services

The app works with third-party services, including Google Play (distribution and payments), Supabase (account and data) and Groq (Zen assistant). Your use of these services is also subject to their policies.

9. Disclaimers

• The app is provided "as is", with no guarantee that it will be error-free or available without interruption.
• App blocking depends on your device settings (permissions, battery optimization, autostart) and may vary between manufacturers and Android versions. We do not guarantee foolproof blocking on every device.
• GreenFocus is a productivity tool, and not security software, professional parental-control software, or medical/psychological advice.
• Responses from the Zen assistant are AI-generated and may contain inaccuracies; they do not constitute professional advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GreenFocus is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the app, including loss of productivity, data or profits.

11. Suspension and termination

• You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law.
• To delete your account and data, use the app or write to greenfocus.contact@gmail.com.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates the current version. Material changes will be communicated in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes will be resolved before the courts of the user's domicile, in accordance with applicable law.
